You are navigating through building and managing your vertical headquarters and an entire staff of reporters, editors and photographers, while also meeting the every Sunday deadline. Your success is based on your own ability to gather news worldwide in an efficient manner, and ultimately choosing an editorial that will appeal to the masses while continuing to support circulation.

The game itself offers two challenges; the efficiency of your layout, and the ethical implications of your choices. You will need to lay out every floor of your tower, trying to best arrange presses, desks, and equipment, so your staff can work as quickly and efficiently as possible. At the same time, you will have many competing interests for your attention as the powerful factions in the city will expect you to print stories that are in their favor in the interests of your paper. The choices made throughout the game, be it sensationalism or exhibiting ethical journalistic behavior, will have ramifications on your sales and your paper’s reputation and ability to exist longer into the future against tough competitors.
