About This LOCKDOWN Protocol

LOCKDOWN Protocol is a fast, first-person social deduction game for 3 to 16 players. Set in a rich, 3D environment, players are required to complete essential tasks in real time, and quickly, as they are all racing against a time limit. For the most part, there are Innocents players who are working together to fulfill all tasks to escape. Among the Innocents is a smaller subset of Dissidents players, who are covertly trying to stop the Innocents from accomplishing that goal, by creating chaos and eliminating the Innocents players before the mission is over.

The main gameplay loop is defined by action in real time and communication that is naturally fluid and contextual. Unlike many deduction-type games, there are no formal, static meeting phases and the game is continuous. Players communicate through the game using Proximity Voice Chat (which means they must be close to one another to hear) creating another layer of strategy for hiding or exposing the threat. The Innocents’ success relies on cooperative behavior and vigilant observation, the Dissidents win through creating chaos and suspicion. This unique combination of fast-paced action, and classic social deduction allows players to experience intense, engaging gameplay.

First-Person Social Deduction Mode: Players engage in a first-person, 3D perspective for realistic gameplay.
Real-Time Action: Players do not pause for turn taking and the action goes uninterrupted like traditional group play.
Proximity-Based Voice Chat: Players communicate based on proximity; you can only hear players who are nearby you.
Innocent & Dissident: Players are either oriented to complete tasks or sabotage the innocent.
Timed Tasks: Innocents must complete all tasks within the time limit to win.
Stamina Cycle: Players reduce stamina to run and produce noise to potentially inform others where they are located, like other players.
